On 12th & 13th September 2026 Will Vienna once again be a centre for premium mortadella, perfect and special? Sausage specialities and other messes.

At the VIENNABallhaus, this is happening for the second time A special kind of gourmet market takes place. This is where hip Speciality producers and innovative manufactoriesto present their best, favourite or latest creations to discerning connoisseurs and fun-loving hedonists. With MORTADELLA TOTALE The VIENNABallhaus once again offers a special event focus for enjoyment and the zest for life. It consciously dedicates itself to sausage and "Dolce Vita.". 

The mortadella theme is once again being ennobled by Helen Mirren's Instagram cannon. KING OF MORTADELLAthe Italian art, pleasure and cult figure. Giuseppe Alessio loves and lives Mortadella like no other. Italian joie de vivre and Mediterranean culinary madness are Giuseppe Alessio's motto. Anyone who has seen and experienced him once will find a whole new connection to the Italian sausage specialty. His product range and his performance, which he will once again celebrate at MORTADELLA TOTALE, are delightful, delicious and truly entertaining.

The organisers and hosts are the restaurateurs Hannah & Jakob Neunteufel from Hannah's plan and the Apulian brothers Gianni & Pasquale Valentino from the Fratelli Valentino caseificiowho are all looking forward to your visit!

The mortadella group is strengthened by EL SPECKO (Collina on the mountain) with homemade Wild sausages from Austria.

Gianni & Pasquale Valentino from the FRATELLI VALENTINO CASEIFICIObring plenty of mozzarella, ricotta, stracchino and Italian mentality to the gourmet market.

SICILEAT brings various Salame with fennel and hareseveral top Sicilian products and also guanciale, the basic ingredient for carbonara, to the sausage spectacle. 

Josef Kranawetter from the JUNIPERHOF in St. Pölten breeds the rare Turopolje pig, known for its intense flavour and high fat content with lots of omega-3 fatty acids. The purebred pig is used to produce high-quality sausage specialities such as Juniper sausage, raw, roast and grilled sausages with various ingredients that are produced transparently and sustainably. The CO2-neutral and organic-certified company is also represented with its specialities at MORTADELLA TOTALE.

The tasting, sampling, gossiping, shopping and savouring is rounded off with Italo & Lido soundsthe cocktail & wine bar from HANNAH'S PLAN and a well-stocked Aperitivo bar from SARTIwhich is an essential part of the Italophile lifestyle.

Of course, there are also tasty treats for vegetarians and vegans at the event.
